(I may get around to fixing that someday though.) acpi currently doesn't work on it either. X works in 1600x1200, but it takes some work. I haven't tried the 3.3.6 X bits that come with 4.2, which may work fine. However, X 4.0.1 has a bug and doesn't work out of the box. I had to use cvsup to grab the X sources out of the tree and use that to compile an X server. AccelX's server will work fine on the 5000e though, and even supports using an external monitor as a dual-head, etc. I like it fine, though I mainly wanted it for the screen. :) -- John Baldwin -- http://www.FreeBSD.org/~jhb/ PGP Key: http://www.baldwin.cx/~john/pgpkey.asc "Power Users Use the Power to Serve!" - http://www.FreeBSD.org/ To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
