The current radeon DRM doesn't build on 6-STABLE because we have -Werror and bonus whinage about when the compiler ignores our inline flags, afaict. If someone could figure out how to fix that (probably through CFLAGS to disable the compiler whinage for this contrib code), we could get a DRM merge, which would probably make lots of people happy. But maybe I'm misunderstanding what you were saying, since the Xorg version should have nothing to do with the DRM. > > > the current Radeon driver, which requires Xorg modular > > > or extreme evil to make it build against monolithic. >=20 > Any chance of seeing "extreme evil" as a port or diff? Certainly not from me. If I was spending time, it would be on the proper solution (upgrading to modular), not wasting it on keeping our stale X limping along. --=20 Eric Anholt anholt@FreeBSD.org eric@anholt.net eric.anholt@intel.com --=-yG6U/3NZqPz102ksNmxB Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name=signature.asc Content-Description: This is a digitally signed message part -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.3 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBEajumHUdvYGzw6vcRAiM8AJwPNXCjindZ9V3y6V1nynsPQ+GyOgCfVrYK nmqmM7nvfcmZXfQlTCjLm9Q= =E/5u -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-yG6U/3NZqPz102ksNmxB--
