Howdy, Depends what you mean by robust. An I2O driver is available from ftp://simon-shapiro.org as patches to 3-STABLE in /crash/patches, or as a distribution in /FreeBSD. However, I get kernel panics when I try running the SmartRAID card in an Intel Lancewood server. Alternatively, you can pester techsupport@dpt.com for the pre-release driver for FreeBSD 2.2.8. It works like a charm, and we've got it running in production environments. Hope this helps.
