	Don't get too pedantic here... there is a 3.0-stable branch and
a 2.2-stable branch.
	Again, it was widely known and was obvious at the time of the 3.0-R
that the 2.2-stable branch was far more STABLE. Even now, comparing 3.1R to
2.2.8R it seems clear that 2.2.8R is more stable -- how could it be
otherwise ?
