To test this thing please add echo $DOCDIR into I think the problem is somewhere in bsd.port.mk, it have very dangerous commands like LIBDIR=XXX in MAKE_ENV which totally prevents port makefile to use its own LIBDIR. I'll try to investigate it now, maybe I am not quite right. -- Andrey A.
