Ok, I actually setup vmware on my 4.x box and fixed the problem with my last update. In addition, I fixed a bug which was stopping vmmon from unloading properly on 5.1+ machines. Please give it a shot and see if it installs properly for you. If there are problems, please make sure that you delete /usr/compat/linux/dev/vmmon /usr/compat/linux/dev/vmnet1 The port _should_ delete those by default when it installs, but it's possible that it might not. (And the vmware2 port might recreate them...) The tarred port is available at: http://www.silby.com/patches/raw/vmware3update3.tar.gz Thanks, Mike "Silby" Silbersack
