Hello,

Trying to install FreeBSD 9.0 on my hp workstation zx6000 sporting two
1.5GHz Itanium=B2 (Madison) CPUs, I'm experiencing the problem reported
in [1].
Parsing the freebsd-ia64 list, I found several posts about the same
issue during the RC1-RC2 era [2][3].
But what about final 9.0? Is it still not working with
McKinley/Madison CPUs? PR ia64/147772 was however closed [4], with a
fix supposedly correcting this issue.

Thank you for any pointer on this,

    Emeric
