Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-questions@FreeBSD.ORG X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk I was wondering if anyone else is trying to run Quake with a Sound Baster 32 PnP card, and if so how is your system setup? Currently I'm running 2.2.2 and have 4front-tech open sound system installed, which seems to work o.k., but when ever I load xquake it states that /dev/dsp invaild, driver to old...Is there a work around? I've tried loading the driver ASAP after start-up, but to no avail....better yet is anyone willing to trade a Sound Blaster 32 AWE PnP for a non-PnP :) to bad I can't return this piece o'crap! ( I will never buy a PnP card again!!!!!) ..-.. ..-.. Jonathan E. Lyons __ /-___-\ __ __ / \ __ parrothd@midwest.net (__\/___ ___\/__) (__\//-oO--\\/__) S.I.U. | \__|__/ | (/ _---_ \) Carbondale, IL.
