After subscribe I can read the freebsd-newbies@freebsd.org's
messages by e-mail, but can't write to it
Why?

2.
I have a mobo with AC'97 and freeBSD 4.5
To enable sound I include in my kernel:

device pcm
options PNPBIOS

compile, reboot and then give a commands:

dmesg | grep pcm
(pcm0...)
cd /dev
sh ./MAKEDEV snd0

Sound work great, but I have no MIDI!
I need MIDI, because I want to use music programs like
Rosegarden, Muse, etc
What can I do?
