Hi, I've been trying to build a kernel from the GENERIC config file (minus a few drivers), but it compiles at 7Mbytes (!!!). Debug options have _not_ been specified. This is a bog standard 3.2-STABLE distribution on genuine Intel hardware (i686 cpu + se440bx intel board) Hanve I done something silly?
