i've looked and looked and i can't find the 'format' for using the echo command in the /etc/rc.local file so that when the OS boots it prints out "starting samba" and then procedes to start the samba deamons. i know its simple, and i remember seeing it somwhere, i just can't find it when i need it. thanks nathan To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-newbies" in the body of the message
