When I run "tcpdump -n arp" after rebooting with this patch, I still see 2-3 ARPs per minute instead of 100-200 per minute. I was patching against: /*$FreeBSD: src/sys/dev/em/if_em.c,v 1.65.2.22 2007/03/01 17:32:27 csjp Exp $*/ Is that correct? I tried both SMP and non-SMP kernels, with same results. Is there anything I can do to gather some additional debug information from the system while it's running? I neglected to mention before the specific motherboard model: Supermicro X7DVL-E. There is no IPMI card installed, and no IPMI setting in the BIOS.
