I have been fighting this for some time with no luck. I am in possession of an IDE/Atapi Pacific Digital DVD Burner. My primary concern at the moment is the complete inability of FreeBSD (5.2) to see this device on dmesg, camcontrol devlist, etc. This drive worked under linux (same hardware configuration). Any pointers or ideas on things I may have missed would be greatly appreciated. - Shaun
