I've done quite a bit of searching to see if mount_smbfs is supported on
FreeBSD/sparc64.

 

http://www.nabble.com/mount_smbfs-td3312376.html seems to indicate that it
was working at one point in 2006. The more recent mailing list posts I've
found all say that it is not supported any more, but I couldn't find one
that says why.

 

I'm running freebsd 7.2.STABLE. If anyone knows a way to get this working, I
would be eternally grateful.
