When the recipient has received it, they can then rename it back to .EXE. This policy is in place to protect your computer from executable files in our clients' email. Our e-mail scanner intercepted it and stopped the entire message before reaching its destination. No further action is required on your part, unless you need to re-send it (see comments above).
