Renaming the file to /usr/local/etc/rc.d/openvpn.sh fixes the issue. Doesn't seem to be listed in recent port changes. >How-To-Repeat: Installed port from ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-6-stable/All/openvpn-2.0.5_1.tbz. Followed the guide on http://openvpn.net/howto.html to configure. Added the settings to rc.conf as suggested in /usr/local/etc/rc.d/openvpn. Rebooted system.
