bktr(4) is a card that allowed people (including me) to have a small window running in which I could watch my cable TV feed. Its usable timeframe was around 18-24 months. I have not used my own card since it was last installed in a machine which IIRC was running Windows 2000. Please go back and look at the original proposal; it detailed what we look for when deprecate things. mcl
