Also, I don't know of any X servers that can go better than 8-bit with the LCD screens, even though under Windows 3.1 I can do 16-bit color on my older 755CX. i'm hoping that improvements to Xfree86 3.2 will do better than 8-bit, since they support the 560 video chip. right now the video seems a bit washed out. i've heard that the new xinside server will do 16 bit on the 560. rob
