The device is not probed during boot time (device pcm0 in kernel config, and dmesg does not show this device). So I did "kldload snd_maestro3" by hand and "cat /dev/sndstat" shows Installed Device: pcm0: port 0xc800 ... irq 5 at device 8.0 on pci0 but when I tried running "xmms" I get "device not configured" error message. any hints or pointers on this?
