Actually, DPT's new generation V cards include SMOR (Storage Manager on Rom), a card-based config utility, so you don't have to boot into DOS to deal with the array...and they're FAST. We bought a couple of the SmartRaid V "Decade" cards (the low-end card) to test them out, prior to upgrading to the "Century" card. So far, they're running well. (That said, I should mention that we're using them in a pair of Linux boxen right now, for which new drivers have just been released. I understand that BSD drivers are in progress).
