The load average cycles up and down, sometimes hitting above 150.. It's not spam (I always have a look at the maillog when this happens) and the processes running on the system all add up to a reasonably low CPU and MEM usage.. There is nothing unusual in /var/log/messages and i'm stumped.. It's on a RAID5 and the drives are going like crazy.. how can I find the cause of this disk i/o ? Thanks, Andrew. _________________________________________________________________ Hotmail now available on Australian mobile phones.
