I am currently writing a kernel modification which allows the superuser to configure a user to have access to other users' files. I modify, among other things, ufs_access() in ufs/ufs/ufs_vnops.c, and am trying to decide on the proper behavior of the function. Is there a reason for a user to not always have read/write access to his files (perm 000), as root does (for any file)? -Ryan To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hackers" in the body of the message
