I have a Cable modem internet conenction, and have a few computers theat I would like to hook up, although I only have one IP. I was reading the section in the documentation about using a FreeBSD machine as a gateway. Would this mean that I could use a phony set of IP's, like the numbers that are unused, then run a firewall/proxy server on the BSD gateway, and have the BSD box be the actual IP? If this is the case, would I be able to run say a quake server on the BSD machine and other processes while using the other computers? Thanks for all info. -Nate Shepard To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
