The problem is the maestro 2e -- I can't record sound. I would really like to get sphynx running. I also can't seem to get apm to work. I get about 10 minutes running freebsd on my battery. shutdown doesn't/can't power off my machine. As a side note... you can crash freebsd 100% of the time.... no warnings, cores, errors or anything -- just *blink* reboot when you put in a scsi pcmcia, and then take it out.. and then run cdcontrol to eject a scsi cd device. ick!
