If you subscribe to the cvs-all mailing list, it will. There's usually between 50 and 100 messages a day. 'Important' changes are likely to be announced to FreeBSD-current@FreeBSD.ORG with a subject line containing 'Heads up!', 'Keep off!' or similar. These usually indicate something that can eat your system for breakfast if you don't know about it. Eivind.
