Hello, 1.) I tried many times to download xgs050.tgz through the port /usr/ports/emulators/xgs but it didn't make it: bsdevil# make >> xgs050.tgz doesn't seem to exist on this system. >> Attempting to fetch from http://www.inwards.com/xgs/. Receiving xgs050.tgz (259601 bytes): 100% 117985 bytes transferred in 531.8 seconds (222 bytes/s) WARNING: File xgs050.tgz appears to be truncated: 117985/259601 bytes ^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ >> Attempting to fetch from ftp://ftp.apple.asimov.net/pub/apple_II/emulators/rom_images/. fetch: ftp.apple.asimov.net: pub: File unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access) >> Attempting to fetch from ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/distfiles/xgs/. fetch: ftp.FreeBSD.org: xgs: File unavailable (e.g., file not found, no access) >> Couldn't fetch it - please try to retrieve this >> port manually into /usr/ports/distfiles/xgs and try again. [Snip] ftp.apple.asimov.net seems to be absolutely empty and most of the time unreachable. xgs050.tgz is always truncated. Are you experiencing the same problems? Is there another mirror site for xgs? 2.) What about KEGS? http://www.crosswinds.net/san-jose/~kentd/kegs/ Is there a FreeBSD port for it yet? 3.) Interesting Apple-2 Resources are also available under: http://ground.ecn.uiowa.edu/apple2/ <- misc. disks, info, ... ftp://ftp.peanuts.org/peanuts/Mirrors/MiscKit/apple2/roms/ <- roms Please Cc: to me, since I'm not on this list.
