https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D218999 Bug ID: 218999 Summary: print/hplip Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: woodsb02@freebsd.org Reporter: mason@blisses.org Assignee: woodsb02@freebsd.org Flags: maintainer-feedback?(woodsb02@freebsd.org) When trying to install drivers for my printer, hp-lip starts believing that it's running on Linux: Downloading plug-in: [\ ] 0% sh: lsb_release: not found There are a number of Linuxisms present. For example, lsusb shows up many places: grep lsusb /usr/local/share/hplip/* It also searches for /etc/issue and evidently has implicit dependencies on = wget and gnupg that aren't handled automatically. Another error: error: Python gobject/dbus may not be installed ...as it yelps about hplip-plugin-install not being found. I'll add to the bug later on if I uncover more. --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
