Since crash dumps are written by a process that I do not believe is vinum aware, I'd be willing to bet that they won't properly be written. Even if that did work, I'm not sure where the crash dump recovery process is fired up, but I'd be willing to guess that it's before vinum gets started, so you'd have to also make some modifications there. > I may be able to find another drive to dump to, but that will take > several days. Swap and dump is not something that I would tend to be inclined to put on vinum.
