It doesn't do much good to keep the machine stable by not sloppily fuzzing old patches if it is going to livelock under the first small-packet DDoS. Thanks for the patches. I'll definitely give it a shot. I just hope the release engineering guys are not persistently leaving all this sparc64 stuff broken and ignoring your patches because they are worried i386 will be destabilized---that's not appropriate if the project is serious about this port.
