This looks like the motif problem I were having with JDK. To fix it I
recompiled/reinstalled all of XFree86 and open-motif. I'm sure it can be done
with only reinstalling part of it, but I just wanted to get it to work...

I did something like :

portupgrade -f 'XFree86*' open-motif
