Installed syssrc and rebuilt my kernel with i686, agp, pcm, smp, etc. rebooted Uncommented XFREE86_VERSION= 4 in /etc/make.conf. Built the png, jpeg and tiff ports. Built the XFree86-4 port, it's 4.2.0, by make all install clean. It finished with no errors on the screen. Unfortunately I didn't think to use script to save the build log. Did the files present in /etc/X11 get moved? Every time I have tried to build XFree 4.2 there are no config files in /etc/X11. pkg_info shows the following installed: XFree86-4.2.0_1,1 XFree86-FontServer-4.2.0 XFree86-Server-4.2.0_1 XFree86-clients-4.2.0_2 XFree86-documents-4.2.0 XFree86-font100dpi-4.2.0 XFree86-font75dpi-4.2.0 XFree86-fontCyrillic-4.2.0 XFree86-fontDefaultBitmaps-4.2.0 XFree86-fontEncodings-4.2.0 XFree86-fontScalable-4.2.0 XFree86-libraries-4.2.0_1 I checked each of the above with pkg_info -L trying to find where the config files are. The only config files present are at the default /usr/X11R6/lib/X11 directory. Any ideas?
