The mail tool 'kmail' has never worked properly for me, both on 2.2.7-RELEASE and 3.0-RELEASE, giving core dumps and corrupted messages. The kfm file mangler is also very buggy, especially when browsing through tar archives - files keep appearing and disappearing. I'm going back to fvwm2 - less pretty but much more stable. It also seems strange that the FreeBSD community pours scorn on Win95/98/NT (rightly so), and then goes and copies it's interface. Very strange.
