Any motherboard manufacturer wanting to integrate a RealTek chip on their board would have to be extremely dumb. Under very high loads, they burn off like there's no tomorrow. We had a delivery of 3COM cards become delayed, and for a weekend had to do with some RealTek 8139s...not a success. We blew four within the first 12 hours, and come Monday a whole seven were dead. Now it might have been that particular manufacturers fault, but man...
