            Bug ID: 241000
Summary: Powermac G5 fails to boot when additional ethernet
card is installed (unable to map interrupt).
           Product: Base System
           Version: 12.1-RELEASE
          Hardware: powerpc
                OS: Any
            Status: New
          Severity: Affects Some People
          Priority: ---
         Component: kern
          Assignee: bugs@FreeBSD.org
          Reporter: cyberlab@gmx.de

Powermac G5 freezes in the boot process when an additional PIC-X NIC is
installed. I tried two different Intel NICs which work fine under Debian PPC
(Intel 82545EM and a quadport 10/100). The boot process stops here:

pcib1: failed to reserve resource for pcib8
atapic2: 0x10 bytes of rid 0x20 res 4 failed (0, 0xffffffffffffffff).
atapci2: unable to map interrrupt
device_attach: atapci2 attach returned 6
