Subject: How to rebuild parts of source tree

I have a rather slow machine, and `make world' can tie it up for quite
some time. This is partially because it seems to rebuild everything,
not just what's changed. Does `make install' DTRT if only a few parts
of the system have changed?

Thanks,
joelh
