Hello everybody! Here's my question I'd appreciate your help with: How do I change the disk label on FreeBSD disk? Say I'we got a large partition /serv which I want to be split into two smaller ones. I've tried using sysinstall utility which doesn't seem to actually change the partition. If disklabel shuold be used in this situation - how do I calculate the "cyl" information for the label? All other entries - sizes and offsets seem to be pretty obvious to calculate, but what about these cylinders? Thanks in advance, Serge
