All, I have recently struggled with openoffice-2.4.1 "crashing" with IO errors on FreeBSD-7.0-STABLE when I learned that there is an issue with OO2 opening and/or saving files over NFS or SMB. My home machine mounts /home off an NFS server (I'm sure a lot of businesses do as well) and I wondered if OO3 has rectified this? In the meantime I save locally and move, but that's a pretty clumsy solution. That being said, I still enjoy using OO, and thank you for your efforts in porting/supporting it. Sincerely, Reed Loefgren
