Hello, I have ifconfig'ed one nic as follows: lnb@satan:~$ifconfig vr0 vr0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 inet6 fe80::250:baff:feae:a6d9%vr0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x1 inet 24.69.168.2 netmask 0xffffffc0 broadcast 24.69.168.63 inet 24.69.168.6 netmask 0xffffffc0 broadcast 24.69.168.63 ether 00:50:ba:ae:a6:d9 media: autoselect (100baseTX) status: active Yet, if I try to ping one of them (the other pings fine)... PING satan.freebsdsystems.com (24.69.168.6): 56 data bytes ^C --- satan.freebsdsystems.com ping statistics --- 6 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss lnb@satan:~$ping 24.69.168.6 PING 24.69.168.6 (24.69.168.6): 56 data bytes ping: sendto: Host is down ping: sendto: Host is down Anyone have an idea why this is happening?
