Hello,
I have ifconfig'ed one nic as follows:
lnb@satan:~$ifconfig vr0
vr0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
inet6 fe80::250:baff:feae:a6d9%vr0 prefixlen 64 scopeid 0x1
inet 24.69.168.2 netmask 0xffffffc0 broadcast 24.69.168.63
inet 24.69.168.6 netmask 0xffffffc0 broadcast 24.69.168.63
ether 00:50:ba:ae:a6:d9
media: autoselect (100baseTX) status: active
Yet, if I try to ping one of them (the other pings fine)...
PING satan.freebsdsystems.com (24.69.168.6): 56 data bytes
^C
--- satan.freebsdsystems.com ping statistics ---
6 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss
lnb@satan:~$ping 24.69.168.6
PING 24.69.168.6 (24.69.168.6): 56 data bytes
ping: sendto: Host is down
ping: sendto: Host is down
Anyone have an idea why this is happening?
Thanks for the help ;-)
