Btw, linux will show a negotiated 100/full link via mii-tool. you can always ask the guys responsible for network infrastructure > > > # ifconfig re0 > > > re0: flags=3D8843 metric 0 mt= u 1500 > > > =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0options=3D88 > > > =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0ether 00:21:85:63:74:34 > > > =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0inet6 fe80::221:85ff:fe63:7434%re0 prefixlen 64 scopei= d 0x1 > > > =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0inet 46.4.12.147 netmask 0xffffffc0 broadcast 46.4.12.= 191 > > > =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0nd6 options=3D3 > > > =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0media: Ethernet 100baseTX (100baseTX ) > > > =A0 =A0 =A0 =A0status: active > > > > >=20 > > This time, it seems you used forced media configuration > > instead of auto. Duplex mismatch usually gives around 100-200 kB/s. I've experienced this (around 75kB/s), setting speed/duplex manually fixed the problem. > Uli > _______________________________________________ > freebsd-stable@freebsd.org mailing list > http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-stable > To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-stable-unsubscribe@freebsd.org" Buki --=20 PGP public key: http://dev.null.cz/buki.asc /"\ \ / ASCII Ribbon Campaign X Against HTML & Outlook Mail / \ http://www.thebackrow.net --U/5EjKfnYgGK6hcj Content-Type: application/pgp-signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (FreeBSD) iD4DBQFM1tcGPzhIkpLLm08RAjk7AJ9QAh44yO4LJ49CdFtBRa57f6+8EACWNZbr 3msJ/hAweC9hunVZ6F19iw== =wkVF -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --U/5EjKfnYgGK6hcj--
