:They aren't even on the same PCI bus.  Do you know if there is a BIOS
:update for this box?  Perhaps the chipset is not being setup correctly.
:I saw something similar on an IBM RCC 3.0LE system.  The remote system
:monitor would trigger a lockup when dumping video memory over the serial
:port.  IBM resolved this with a BIOS update.

    There appear to be several BIOS updates on DELLs site.  Unfortunately
    it is not possible for me to bookmark the page, Dell's site is a mess
    of asp crap.  I don't see anything specific the PCI, but in A07 there's
    one for 'Added fix to correct slot voltage for all PCI slots in system
	management BIOS (SMBIOS)', which sounds kinda scary.
