Sorry for taking so long to reply back, been busy.

Anyway,  without  seeing  actual output it's hard to say what might be
going  on.  It could be anything from a simple misconfiguration of the
card (IRQ conflict) or the card could be bad (I've seen a few myself).
Please reply back with the output of:

ifconfig -a
dmesg | grep -i mx
uname -a

We'll go forward from there.
