OK... libqt is the suspect so far, let's see how I can fix it. from the build dirs: xara# ldd -a ./kdelibs-3.2.0/dcop/dcopidl/dcopidl that tells that it uses libpthread and libqt-mt /usr/X11R6/lib/libqt-mt.so.3 is linked against libc_r.
