Don't know about anyone else. I have run updated versions here (3.5.92 most recently), so updating would be nice. However, the versions I have tried compile flawlessly and seem to run just fine without any modification whatsoever. So, its easy enough to upgrade independent of the FreeBSD base system. Of course, this means it should also be easy to import an updated version into the base system, I assume. >Why is the newest version only called ntp ? Whatever makes sense. The last version I imported installs into the /usr/local tree by default. I would assume that all you would have to do to import it would be fix the install directories. Everything else, after you run Configure, seems to work fine with FreeBSD. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
