I have two questions that are somewhat related. Firstly, can I upgrade the system in a "binary way", i.e. without having to 'make buildworld' and install. Is there a way to keep track of and apply updates to *packages* as opposed to *ports*. Second, in security bulletins I have seen mention of such releases as 4.5-RELEASE-p3. Where can I find more information about this? Are these releases "official" (i.e. meant for Joe User) or are they other points in STABLE? My goal here (at least for now) is to run an updated RELEASE until I get the hang of things enough to track STABLE. - -- [!] Justin R.
