I have set up ppp acording to the 2.1 Handbook. Recompile the kernel for features I need. Set up all the files as specified with appropriate information. Using- tun0 as the interface and user ppp. If I type "ppp" and then type "term" then "atdt3828870" the connection is made no problem (unfortunately I have no idea what to do from there). If I try "dial provider" I get 'dial failure' with NO modem activity at all or the system locks up. Any ideas????? Keith Leonard keithl@gil.net
