You did not mention, if this happens on amd64 or i386 platform.=20 The signal 10 should not happen at least on amd64 and not with the recent version of the port graphics/qgis 2.18.4. Could you please update your ports tree and then update the port graphics/q= gis amd report back, if this helps?
