Cc: hua@chromatic.com Sender: owner-hardware@freebsd.org X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Precedence: bulk Does anyone know whether it is possible to have more than 2 IDE controllers? We have an abundance of IDE disks and I am running out of space. I guess this question has multiple parts: 1. Can the IDE driver handle more than 2 controllers? 2. Are there any IDE controllers out there (ISA or PCI) which can be mapped to alternate addresses and IRQs besides the two standard settings? Any answer appreciated! Thanks! Ern
