I broke down and got one of those EIDE cards. I beleive it was from Promise. Anyhow, it boots fine in DOS, but fails to boot my FreeBSD partition. I'm wondering if there is any known reason why? I wasn't impressed with the speed improvment in dos so I'm just going to go back to my old VL-IDE controller, but I'm interested in hearing any thoughts on the subject.
