No. Ppp won't see the incoming packets and therefore won't be able to do anything with them :-I Natd is the right way to go. I would have thought it works - what does your setup look like ? Are you using ``ipfw ... divert ...'' on both interfaces, diverting both to the same natd, and have you got the same IP number assigned to both interfaces ? The problem here as I see it is not if natd will work, but if the machine will be able to handle things properly.
