in terms of #2 (nfs mount args), seems peter took in the patch late July
and it was MFC'd aug10 & 11.

and as for #3, Im not sure, but I bet it's worth it for people familiar
with the drivers (especially machine independent pieces) to help out and
review the NetBSD patches and check out the code.  Who's up?
